You better be a world class footballer, have Hollywood looks or the voice of angel if you want to rise about the crowd on Merseyside. So its hats off to Lee Squires AKA Esquire for building his brand into a globally recognised House player loved and followed well outside the city walls of Liverpool. Born 29 years ago Esquire grew up in and alongside one sister and one brother. School was painless if forgettable, studies focused on computers which lead this self confessed nerd to university where he thankfully studied Audio Engineering.
2015 has certainly kicked off in full swing for eSQUIRE successfully hitting the top 3 house charts on the biggest DJ download site BEATPORT. He launched a brand new record label 'HOUSE LIFE Records' with kiwi expat Jolyon Petch. Also forming a new collaborative project with Jolyon called 'ESQUIRE & PETCH' which together they have officially remixed for Australian Pop Star Conrad Sewell's breakout track 'Hold Me Up' out on Atlantic Records. They’ve Released a string of singles together this year with almost all of them hitting the Beatport TOP 100 House charts and getting Radio & Club Support from some of the world’s biggest DJ’s.
eSQUIRE also teamed up with Hungary's biggest DJ's 'Crazibiza' for a devastating club rework of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers anthem 'By The Way’. He also has new releases out with Reload on Apartment sixtythree, & Pornostar. He was also asked by EDX to remix a few singles for his own Pinkstar records and after remixes for Like Morgan & Me & My Toothbrush then released his own Single ‘Over you’with Singer Polina Griffith on the label. He’s just finished working on a new remix for Rudimental and is working on new singles with Jolyon Petch & Sian Evans from Kosheen.
On top of his hectic production schedule he has also been performing & touring throughout the UK, Ireland, Scotland and abroad with shows in Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, New Zealand and most recently with a sold-out tour in Australia perfuming at the best clubs in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane.
